Transfiguration Academy

The students in Grades K-4 will be celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday on Monday, March 8th, by reading some books authored by Dr. Seuss and having some treats.

Because our theme is Dr. Seuss’ book Happy Birthday to You, we would like to request donations of the following from the following grades:

KA, KB and Grade 1: bags/packs of chips, pretzels, popcorn, or another salty snack

Grades 2 and 3: juice boxes (please send in small/junior sizes ONLY)

Grade 4: cut-up fruits or pre-made individual fruit cups

We will give 0.5 service hours for every item donated (i.e., bags/packs of salty snacks, packs of juice boxes, serving of cut fruit/packages of fruit cups, etc.). We also need a few volunteers for set-up, serving, and clean-up. We will give service hours for volunteering at this event.

If you can donate food or volunteer, please fill out the bottom portion of this letter and send it to school by Friday, March 5, to the attention of Mrs. Cris Gallagher, c/o Cathy Gallagher, Grade 4, or Mrs. Gina Buchman, c/o of Nicholas Buchman, Grade 3.
