Education is a long day’s journey into light;
“And so the purpose of Catholic education is to communicate Christ to you,
 so that your attitude toward others will be that of Christ”

                                                                                       - Pope John Paul II
Transfiguration Academy, a Middle States Accredited Catholic elementary school, open to students from PK, ages Two Plus through the Eighth Grade, offers an enhanced curriculum and extensive extra-curricular activities.

The name, Transfiguration, representative of Our Lord’s transformation, was chosen to symbolize that we are taking the lead in transforming the face of Catholic School education and fulfilling our mission: To enable students to develop their full potential, meet the challenges of a changing society; become worthwhile contributors to the community and the leaders of tomorrow. This is accomplished through strengthening faith, enlightening minds and transforming hearts…. one student at a time..

The Transfiguration Academy Community
The Pastoral Administrator, School Administration, Faculty, Parents and Students share the responsibility for building a strong faith community, developing positive leadership, and for providing a quality educational program.
The Faculty recognizes, appreciates and responds to the diversity of individual and communal needs among our students by creating a supportive atmosphere, a disciplined environment, and high academic standards for all students.

The Parents and Students work to create a partnership between home and school.  Through open communication and interaction, our faith community becomes aware, respectful and accepting of differing cultures.
The educational mission of Transfiguration Academy endeavors to meet the challenges and changes of a modern, technological society in the 21st century.
